During the week commencing 20th June 2016, 16 staff members from VUM partner universities in Albania, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Russia, Serbia, Ukraine and Vietnam as well as four staff members from Opole University of Technology in Poland engaged in two Erasmus+ staff trainings held by experts and senior lecturers of VUM. The staff trainings aimed to improve the trainees’ skills and knowledge in the field of Human Resource Management and Talent Management in Academia as well as in the area of Quality Assurance in Double Degree Programmes. During both trainings, the VUM lecturers and trainers shared their professional and academic expertise in the mentioned fields. In addition, they also presented in details the experience of VUM in building up the leadership and talent pipelines at the institution. In the framework of the workshops dedicated to the topic of internationalization of curriculum, Prof. Vesselin Blagoev, Vice-Rector for Quality and Education at VUM shared the institution’s 7-year history of collaboration with Cardiff Metropolitan University in the UK.
