MBA Level Internship Experience

Our MBA student, Beatrice Mwasha, has recently completed not one, but two mobilties for traineeships under the Erasmus+ programme and we are happy to share her testimionial from this experience:

My internship experience in Poland was one of the most valuable parts of my academic journey. It gave me the opportunity to step outside the classroom, experience a new working environment, and put what I had learned into practice.
In the course of the summer, I had the opportunity to gain experience through two internships: WhitePress and TheViPgroup, both based in Poland.

At WhitePress, I was introduced to the practical side of marketing and digital communication. I gained a better understanding of content marketing, communication, social media, and how businesses use digital platforms to reach their audiences. What I appreciated most was being able to work on practical tasks rather than only learning about these areas theoretically. It helped me become more confident in communicating ideas and thinking creatively.

My experience at TheViPgroup gave me a different perspective. Working in a startup with an international and dynamic environment allowed me to develop my understanding of business operations, teamwork, communication, and professional responsibility. Being surrounded by people from different backgrounds also showed me the importance of adaptability and being open to different ways of working.

Of course, moving to another country and working in a new environment came with challenges. There were moments when I had to step outside my comfort zone, adapt quickly, and become more independent. However, these challenges became some of the most valuable parts of the experience. I became more confident in communicating with others, taking initiative, and approaching unfamiliar situations.

Looking back, my Erasmus experience was not only about gaining professional experience. It was also about personal growth. Living and working in Poland helped me become more independent, open-minded, and confident about my future career.
