The eligible duration of the Erasmus+ student mobility for studies varies between 3 and 12 months depending on the student’s previous Erasmus+ experience, if any, at the respective level of education. To provide access to the Erasmus+ programme to as many students in the eligible Partner Countries as possible, the average duration of the student mobilities for studies at VUM is between 3 and 5 months. The Erasmus+ programme ensures that the incoming students who spent their Erasmus+ mobility at VUM receive recognition of the ECTS obtained during their studies according to the predefined Learning Agreement for Studies. Furthermore, they receive financial support through the respective mobility project coordinated by VUM and based on a fixed monthly grant provision. In line with the Erasmus+ Student Charter, education for all incoming Erasmus+ students at VUM is free of charge and they are treated like local students.
VUM implements the Erasmus+ programme by fully acting in accordance with the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union which prohibits any discrimination based on sex, race, ethnic or social origin, genetic features, language, religion or belief, political or any other opinion, membership of a national minority, property, birth, disability, age or sexual orientation.
