Student Mobility for Traineeships (SMT)

About the Programme

Besides the student mobilities for studies, the Erasmus+ programme provides opportunities for student mobility for traineeships. In the framework of this type of mobilities, students are eligible to receive financial support for implementing internships abroad and get trained by obtaining innovative knowledge, new skills, and intercultural experience that would prove invaluable when applying for a job.

To be eligible for an Erasmus+ mobility grant, the mobility shall not be shorter than 2 months and shall take place in one of the countries involved in this action.

VUM full-time students can apply for mobility for traineeships annually by contacting the VUM Career Centre. The procedures for the application and selection of eligible students, as well as the general rules applicable in the process of the management and administration of the Erasmus+ programme for academic mobility at the institutional level, are stipulated in the Rules and Regulations document accessible here.

VUM implements the Erasmus+ programme by fully acting in accordance with the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union, which prohibits any discrimination based on sex, race, ethnic or social origin, genetic features, language, religion or belief, political or any other opinion, membership of a national minority, property, birth, disability, age or sexual orientation.
