We are delighted to share that our students’ summer internship experiences are impressive, and thanks to the Erasmus+ programme, they can enrich their skills and professional pathways. Kaloyan Nedkov, a first-year student from the Gastronomy and Culinary Arts programme, is currently enjoying his student mobility for a traineeship at Hilton DoubleTree in Malta.
Kaloyan shares:
“My work experience has been very positive. I have learned a lot about how a hotel’s kitchen operates as well as practiced work on buffets, catering for events and organizing food deliveries and storage.
As per my contract, the hotel has provided me with a room all to myself as well as staff meals.
The hotel is located 2 minutes from the beach so I can’t complain about being bored in my free time, which people have been very strict for me to have, making sure that I work only as much as the schedule says.
“
Congratulations to Kaloyan for his excellent performance and successful internship! Keep learning and growing in the field of gastronomy. Your dedication and hard work are an inspiration to us all!
