We are delighted to share that our students’ summer internship experiences are impressive, and thanks to the Erasmus+ programme, they can enrich their skills and professional pathways. Kaloyan Nedkov, a first-year student from the Gastronomy and Culinary Arts programme, is currently enjoying his student mobility for a traineeship at Hilton DoubleTree in Malta.
Kaloyan shares:
“My work experience has been very positive. I have learned a lot about how a hotel’s kitchen operates as well as practiced work on buffets, catering for events and organizing food deliveries and storage. As per my contract, the hotel has provided me with a room all to myself as well as staff meals. The hotel is located 2 minutes from the beach so I can’t complain about being bored in my free time, which people have been very strict for me to have, making sure that I work only as much as the schedule says.“
Congratulations to Kaloyan for his excellent performance and successful internship! Keep learning and growing in the field of gastronomy. Your dedication and hard work are an inspiration to us all!
