On November 26, 2025, Varna University of Management organised an Erasmus+ Open Day, bringing students together to discover the international mobility opportunities available to them through the programme.
During the event, the International Cooperation Department introduced the main mobility options offered to VUM students, including student mobilities for traineeships and internships, long-term study mobilities, and Blended Intensive Programmes.
The event also gave students the opportunity to hear directly from their peers. Several VUM students shared their personal mobility experiences, speaking about the challenges they encountered, the skills and knowledge they developed, and the friendships and memories they gained along the way.
Beyond providing practical information, the event highlighted the broader value of international mobility — from experiencing different academic environments and cultures to developing greater independence, confidence, and intercultural awareness.
The Erasmus+ Open Day concluded with an interactive recap quiz, where students could test their knowledge of the programme and compete for prizes, adding a lively and engaging finish to the event.
Through initiatives like the Erasmus+ Open Day, VUM continues to encourage students to take advantage of international opportunities and make mobility an integral part of their university experience.
