Between 25th and 29th November 2025, the Varna University of Management had the pleasure of hosting a staff training on Leadership and Innovation in Higher Education for six staff members from Central University of Technology (CUT), South Africa.
The programme was delivered by the VUM lecturers Dr Violina Ratcheva and Dr Nedka Dimitrova. The programme aimed at equipping the CUT staff members with the necessary skills, knowledge, and attitudes to foster leadership and innovative practices, thereby enriching the capacity of their home university and foster innovative thinking among higher education professionals. The main topics covered thematic areas such as creativity and innovation, leadership practices in the higher education context, as well as communication styes for effective intercultural and interpersonal collaboration.
