On November 26, 2024, VUM hosted an inspiring Internship Conference organised by our students, as part of their practice-oriented module “Conferences, exhibitions and corporate events”!
The event featured guest speakers such as Chef Hugues Boutin (Director of Culinary Arts Institute), Vesselina Dimitrova from the Career Center at VUM, a representative from Atlantica Hotels, and the VUM students Vasilena Nankova, Ivana Dimitrova, and Pavel Arefev, who shared insights from their summer internships, which were student mobilities for traineeships co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme. Topics ranged from student experience to professional advices.
At the end of the event, bartender Boris Banchev, a VUM student and award-winning professional, presented an impressive bartending demonstration, preparing a fall-inspired red sangria, which added a special touch to the event.
