As part of the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility Programme, a representative of Western Galilee College participated in a training programme at Varna University of Management focused on developing intercultural and global competencies.
The sessions, delivered by Dr Nedka Dimitrova, addressed a topic of growing importance for academic and administrative staff involved in international education. It aimed to strengthen participants’ ability to work effectively across cultures, improve intercultural communication, and promote greater global awareness within their institutions.
Another key session, led by Dr Luiz Moutinho, focused on “AI and Innovation Technologies in Higher Education”. It provided valuable insights into how emerging technologies are transforming higher education institutions, teaching practices, and pedagogical approaches.
By combining academic content, professional networking, and cultural immersion, the programme supported the holistic professional development of participants. It also contributed to the broader Erasmus+ objectives of strengthening international cooperation, intercultural understanding, and institutional capacity in higher education.
