From 15 to 19 June 2026, Varna University of Management (VUM) hosted the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) “Inclusive Leadership: Driving Change through People and Purpose” within the Erasmus+ framework. Held at Albena Resort, Bulgaria, the programme brought together students from across Europe and beyond to explore contemporary approaches to leadership, organisational change, and inclusive decision-making.
Participants from Austria, Germany, Hungary, Martinique, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Switzerland, Türkiye formed a diverse international learning community, creating a dynamic environment for intercultural exchange and collaboration.
The BIP was delivered by VUM lecturer Dr. Violina Racheva and featured contributions from guest lecturer Veysel Tan from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, Netherlands.
Key topics included leadership styles, organisational culture, innovation, vision and values, as well as strategies for managing resistance to change and fostering effective communication. Throughout the programme, students examined leadership as a dynamic and context-dependent process rather than a fixed set of skills.
By combining academic learning with hands-on experience, reflection, and teamwork, the programme encouraged students to broaden their perspectives, strengthen their leadership competencies, and develop the skills needed to lead effectively in diverse international environments.
