From 8 to 12 June 2026, Varna University of Management hosted the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) “Unlocking the Real Value of AI and Big Data Analytics in Business” at Albena Resort, Bulgaria. The programme was implemented under the Erasmus+ Programme.
The course, led by Prof. Peter Ganev, brought together students from Austria, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, and Slovenia. The multicultural learning environment fostered discussions focused on data-driven decision-making and the transformative role of artificial intelligence in modern business.
Throughout the programme, students engaged in lectures, practical exercises, and collaborative projects designed to explore the combined application of AI and big data analytics. These activities enabled participants to understand how data can be transformed into valuable insights that support strategic business decisions in various sectors.
The programme was designed to enhance students’ digital and analytical capabilities, strengthen their skills in interpreting complex datasets, and equip them with the knowledge needed to respond effectively to the demands of an increasingly data-centric global business environment.
