From 26 to 30 May 2026, Varna University of Management hosted the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) “Inclusive Mindsets: Understanding Differences through Cultural Lenses” at Albena Resort, Bulgaria. The programme was implemented under the Erasmus+ Programme.
The training, led by VUM lecturer Nedka Dimitrova, brought together students from Croatia, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Poland, Romania, Serbia, and Slovakia, creating a dynamic international learning environment focused on intercultural understanding and inclusion.
During the intensive week, participants explored topics such as cultural diversity, intercultural communication, cultural values and dimensions, gender roles in different cultural contexts, and effective strategies for working in multicultural business environments. Through interactive discussions, group activities, and case studies, students reflected on cultural differences and developed practical skills for successful cross-cultural collaboration.
The programme aimed to strengthen participants’ intercultural competence, raise awareness of the importance of diversity and inclusion, and prepare students to operate effectively in increasingly international academic and professional environments.
